Here we are... it’s the final day of the famous World Championship of Square Boules in the medieval village of Haut-de-Cagnes, and the tension is at its peak!
The two teams (RENOIR and SOUTINE) are tied perfectly (12-all) before this last round; all the players (Margot, Alfred, Georges, and Suzy) have thrown their square boules when suddenly, an overly exuberant greyhound raced through at top speed and sent the jack flying. It’s as if it did it on purpose!
The players are now getting into a heated argument to figure out where the jack is. Each one insists that their square boule is the closest to the jack.
